Need help deciding..
So im new to the forum, and also not very educated in the technical aspects of vehicles. But i have a 1998 f150 2wd v6 and am trying to decide on a lift and wheels option. i go offroad alot, and my truck is just too low. i was initially planning on getting a body lift and leveling kit to go along. i wanted somewhat wide tires, and larger ones, i was looking at the nitto series. any tire size suggestions and lift combos to give me a functional yet noticable lift?

a good combo would be a 4.5" lift and 33x12.5's or a 6" lift and 35x12.5's, if you are going to put bigger tires I would suggest re-gearing the rear axel. I would say if you get 33's re-gear it with 4.10's, and if you get 35's re-gear it with 4.56's, or just put 4.56's and call it good, another good thing to do would be to put a locker on the rear.

Ya its Dipped, Hate Away
Mines a 2wd. Just level it out and you can run 33's or 35's depending on the level. Its enough lift to lose a ton of power. Im runnin a 3" Rough Country level and 315/70/17 BFG A/T's. Personaly I like the bigger tires without the big lift look. Or huge tires with big lift lol
