Default Max Tire Size on 6" lift, stock 18" wheels?

What is the maximum size tire that will fit and function on a 2016 F150 2WD once I install a 6" lift? I want to keep the stock 18" XLT wheels.

This is my first F150 and I'm excited to join the group, thanks!

Also, any recommendations for lift kits? This truck will be used 90% of the time on the street and hauling a trailer with quads and dirt bikes for my kids and moderately sized loads.

Im running 35x12.5's on a -6 wheel with full wheel travel (valence had to be slightly trimmed) I know there are a few low positive offset setups with 37's clearing but I am unsure whether or not the stocks will because they are around +44 I believe.

As far as lifts go, if you are on a budget, Zone has pretty good reviews. Other than that BDS, ProComp are good options as well. Coilover setups will give you a better ride. I personally have RC and love the ride but the reviews have been mixed.

Thanks for the feedback and your personal experience hedgesc! I'll look into those options. Do the kits require professional installation? I'm a mechanically capable guy with average homeowner tools. I don't mind doing the work if it's reasonable.

Most require cutting. If cutting the frame on a brand new truck doesn't bother you and you're mechanically inclined with vehicles then you'll be able to install it in a full day. Otherwise Id go with a shop. The average labour cost i found was around $800. I paid $1000 directly from my dealership

Did you have a Ford dealership do the work or a specialty shop?

hedgesc, would you share a few pics of your truck with that lift/wheel/tire setup so I can get an idea of how it looks to see if it matches what I'm looking for?

Thanks for you help, I appreciate it!
