Default Looking for a UTV windshield

Howdy! New UTV owner here. Trying to decide which style of windshield for utv to purchase. How are the half windshields in cold weather?
Do the flip down styles direct 'too much' air into the cab?(like if you didn't have a windshield at all) Any reason to have a back window if I don't have doors?(thinking about installing doors by this winter) And are the hard-coat poly windshields really much better? Decisions, decisions...Would really appreciate opinions on this.
THANKS!

I have this style on my rzr. I love it with the versatility to have it closed, cracked open, or fully open. Going on some crazy high speed bouncy stuff and I have never had any issues riding with it fully open if needed.

I have two SXS (23 Honda Talon FLV and 21 Honda Pioneer 1000-5).

Pioneer: SuperATV Flip-up windshield
Talon - SuperATV full glass windshield

This flip-up poly is THE BEST of the polycarbonate windshields. Has a multi-stage latch to allow you to open and lock at various positions. Great to open when full ventilation is wanted. Yes, poly CAN scratch, but the SATV ones are somewhat scratch-resistant.

The full glass windshield on the Talon does have vents below that can be opened and closed, but they don't allow anywhere as much airflow as opening up the flip-up poly. However, I installed two large radiator fans on the underside of the roof and have them connected to individual PVM controllers - work great to cool. I like the glass cause I have windshield wipers on it and it does stop more air than the flip-up during the colder months. These won't scratch like poly, which is why you can run windshield wipers on them.

Regardless of which front windshield you run, you WILL want to consider something on the rear, depending upon where you ride. If you do a lot of trail riding in dusty areas, NOT having a rear windshield (or some form of mesh dust screen) on the back will result in all kinds of dust and dirt being sucked back into the cab (read up on "station wagon effect"). On the Pioneer, I have a
full mesh dust screen full mesh dust screen
that stops the vast majority of the dirt and dust. On the Talon, I have the SuperATV polycarbonate https://www.superatv.com/honda-talon-1000-rear-windshield.

Don't bother with either half windshields or flip DOWN windshields. Poor designs at best.

Just my $0.02.
