Line-X Rims

It would likely wreak havoc on balance due to the thickness of the coating and the ability to spray it perfectly even across the wheel surface. Probably need a lot of weight to counteract it.

Yeah. Really bad idea.

Why would you do this? Are you worried about your wheels rusting? If you want them another color then paint them or Plasti-dip them. If you Line-X them, I'd bet they'd never balance correctly and make the truck ride like crap. Bad idea.

Thanks for the input everyone.
Just to be fair - I have no intentions to actually do this, but I have noticed more and more trucks, jeeps & other off-road vehicles who are getting full Line-X Paint jobs but always leave the rims out. I can definitely see how balancing would be an issue. Good point for sure. I was thinking more along the lines of scratching or denting when off-road since most off-road vehicles aren't trying to hit highway speeds of 70+ anyways.
Thanks!
