I think if you can fit the icon uca's you should fit the baja kits ones. Send a pm to the guy above from baja kits and double check though. Pretty sure mine were lubed at install but haven't heard them at all since. Probably a couple thousand miles since installation.

It'll be very close.

We have a wheel max backspacing of 4.75" with our Upper arm.

I believe Icon might be 5".

dealer did my rebuild for the rears and I got it back today, they feel brand new and really made me smile, I didn't remember how good it could ride (a stiffer ride is appealing to me). So the ICON's did hold up well to a beating and a rebuild, the quality is there. That's not really what this rant was about though and I still hate their shipping policy and them not sending me my UCA bushings.

They should of sent you the bushings no questions asked. I was going to go with icon or king with my last truck. If I build in the future it will be with baja kits and king. Glad that you have he truck back riding better.

Thanks! Yeah it was really funny about the bushings, they would give me the right part number on the phone, then tell me they wouldn't sell them to me, but a supplier could. So I called a few semi-local shops who are authorized and they both sent me the wrong thing and couldn't find the part that Icon told me about on the phone. Then my dealer got involved and they wouldn't sell him stuff unless he was going to be an authorized dealer or something. He ended up getting the same part number I did, ordered it from somewhere and got the same wrong part that I kept getting. It was really strange, and there wasn't a good middle man for me to contact. With Baja kits I feel like having JT's email I know I can at least get an explanation for stuff and someone who honestly seems to want to help. I ordered my wheels through them too and will be ordering any future suspension from them too.

If an address is considered to be in a high risk area for theft, FedEx and UPS will require the shipper to opt for signature acceptance or they won't ship.

U.S.P.S. on the other hand will ship any where and if you want security for your delivery, you opt for insurance.

The thing that sucks is the seller picks who they wish to ship with. So the consumer is SOL. So be certain who the vendor of the product you are purchasing from is using for shipping and request "other" if it does not meet your needs.

I get in LA or BOS or something to do it. But that isn't what happened to me, I live on a closed road in a town that doesn't even have police and the closest state trooper barracks is 45 minutes away... It seems some companies just don't want to deal with the risk of it and require it on everything. I learned my lesson though and I check who people ship with now and make sure there is no signature necessary.

I live in the burbs of New Orleans and it's rare for anyone to require signature at my address, it's not a regional thing, more like specific areas even down to a block or 2. Guy I work with lives less than a mile from me and they always require signature for his packages. Sounds like you got it covered now, just wanted to add that tidbit.

Now I have to rebuild my shocks so I order a fill needle and some shock oil. They REQUIRE I personally sit home and sign the delivery slip, for a $80 order. So I take a day off work today after missing them yesterday and the ******* from FedEx doesn't show up, but claims he did. So now I'm out another day, and the closest place they will hold it is 60 miles from my house, when they have a center less than 20 miles from me. So between FedEx and Icon I am done with ICON. King will be my next adventure after this rebuild and I will probably skip rebuilding my fronts and just buy new Kings so I don't give them another penny.
This bums me out. Back when I was shopping I was going to go with Fox but ended up with ICON because you had problems with Fox and ended up with ICON and really liked them. I ended up buying the ICON's and have been really happy with them. I have about 14K miles on them and couldn't be happier. Will probably be another 2 years before needing rebuilt as my off road consists more of trails and pulling the TT down them. No Dukes of Hazzard yet....

I greased the crap out of the UCA's on install with some super duper red grease and have never heard a peep out of them. They were re greased after about 7K miles. I have the caps on them which I would think helps keep them cleaner and keep the grease from washing out.

Any chance you dealt with F150lifts? (I think they may have changed their name) Do you have the part # handy you've been trying to get them to ship you? I'm going to make some inquiries. Don't want this issue if it comes up.

If, when you end up with the Kings I'd sure like to hear your thoughts.

Yeah not trying to bum you out I think you will be fine. Like I said besides them not selling me the bushings, their products have stood up, and the rebuild was expected and has gone well. The bushing shipping issue is sort of crazy to me as I just don't understand why they wouldn't send them to me, or even one of their suppliers. I didn't have any issue with squeaking on the uca's or anything else, just a bushing that connects to the truck body needed to be replaced. The part is in this picture, the Rubber bushings is what I needed, not sure the part number. What they sent me was the Uniball for $150 not the cheap rubbers I wanted. I literally still have two sets I never sent back if anyone needs some. I dealt with Stage3motorsports for the original order and ICON directly for the replacement parts, which led me to local ICON dealers that couldn't get the part from them either. The way that ICON runs their servicing products, and how they hide their replacement parts on the website without exact part numbers is insane to me.

The rubber bushings here in the top is what I needed and they refused to send me.
