how did you do it for cheap? and why would you want to tint a headlight, by the way that is a pic of a taillight, and you posted in off-road section bro. You should of put it in a diff section. on the other hand you did a very good job on doing yours.

o just realized that i said headlight sorry everyone but reason being my phone only allows me to post in off road cause its the section i started it in and cant change it

way to do it best and right so it looks good is to sand the whole tail light down with 1000 grit wet or dry sand paper $2.50 wipe it down with some mineral spirts or any rubbing alcohol if u have access to a vinyl cutter the ideas are unlimtited to the design u can put on or buy them from decal shop take the vinyl cut out and place it where you would like it to be (the stars) two light coats of krylon black bond to plastic paint wet sand it down and hit it with about 5-8 light coats of krylon clear bond to plastic clear coat all together should spend around 18 bucks

or you could use VHT Niteshade paint. its a spray can tint paint that's made for tinting tail lights.

My dad did a set for my old suv and it turned out great when i had her, and it was free lol.<~~Dad is a painter) lol. I just wanted to know your method.

btw been a while but the vht i used on my other truck didnt last and was horrible looking even with the usual prep work...

Ha right sense this post I took out the tail lights filled them in and put fox body style Ford racing tail lights in the new roll pan
