Default How to get plus 6 inches of lift for 38s?

I recently purchased a 2006 F150 SXT I have seen a lot of 6 inch lift kits it'll make me be able to run 35 inch tires. I'm asking what would be a cost-effective way to get to a lift height able to run 38 13.50! All advice is appreciated. I was told by a local lift shop the best bet would be 6 in rough country plus 3 inch body lift! I've been told 8 inch Rize suspension lift plus coilovers but that's about $5,000. Anybody know a better way or am I stuck at that price? Thanks!

Rize makes an 8 inch. I'm thinking about settling for 37s!

Bummer. How bout FTS or Showoff?

The Rize 8" and 37" would be plenty sweet I would think.

To be completely honest man. I mean there are some kits but spending$5,000 just out of my price range. I have a hard time spending over 2500!

With the right offset on the rims you can run a 37" tire on 6" lift. I ran 35s on just a 2.5" leveling kit on 20x10 wheels

agree with marknissan. I am running 35s with a 3" level kit. Why are you trying to sit completely above the tire?

also you are talking about not spending much money. You arent going to want to run 38s without re-gearing. and that isnt cheap either.

edit: also this is the second time you have posted this question. the other thread is still on the first page.

Haven't talked to the people i trust about it yet but I just bought a 2011 f150 and I'm planning on buying a Ready lift 7-inch lift and when I order it I'm gonna ask them what I should do but I want to replace the front struts with a pre-leveled aftermarket strut. I'm sure they can make a bigger block but I think I'll just have springs added to the rear to get the extra 2 inches or so in the rear.
