Default Going from 6” to 8” and re-gear

Currently running a rough country 6” lift with 37x12.50’s on a 2014 F150 FX4. Originally was going to have an 8” kit installed but the shop called me during the install and said that if I go 8” with the stock upper control arms I would have an issue with them contacting the springs due to their lack of travel and size. They suggested going with new procomp uppers which would allow the room for the extra 2 inches, however after looking at the current set up I’m a bit wary. Pretty much I’m wondering if anyone else is running an 8” set up and if so, did you have to extend your brake lines/ABS lines/driveshaft etc. I’d hate to put it in the shop and have to find out the hard way I have to spend unexpected money. It doesn’t look like there’s much slack in them now and if it were to go weight off wheels on a lift I’m afraid the lines would get snapped because of it. Also, with the 37’s what would be a good re-gear for the rear end? Already planning on buying the bully dog BDX next week and investing in a custom tune for the mods on the truck. Any input is appreciated!

I’m currently running 8 inches on 37’s with procomp uppers, 2” add a leafs and 5” blocks. Sits perfect with a slight take. No issues with brake lines etc...

For your re-gear question, I'm running 37's with 4.88 gears. They're *awesome*. 2015 Supercrew 5.0. If you're going through the process, I wouldn't do anything less than 4.56 at minimum.

How long have you been running the tuff country uppers? any issues with the bushings wearing quickly? There's a significant price difference between pro comp and tuff country so if I can get a good product for less then I'll run with it.

4.56:1 is the minimum gear for 37s. If you are choosing heavy 37s, I'd recommend 4.88s.
