Default ditch lights

do any of you guys use these, if so, do they bounce around much white or amber and are they worth the hassle- I can imagine it must depend on the light itself- I'm a budget kind of guy and can't see spending 1,000 bucks on lights-

For me, ditch lights are useful to see deer and elk before they move onto the road. They fill in the area above the cutoff off of a good set of fog lights. Best bet is to slow down from sunset to after sunrise. I only use them at night on back country roads. Otherwise, I have zero use for them.

Ditch brackets on this truck are Diode Dynamics. Had different brackets on my last truck, both vibrate. But not enough to notice. Lights are KC Hilite Flex 3. Pictured with backlight on, backlight is not very useful.

Above cab lights might be better. They mount higher so shine over higher brush ditch lights can’t get past.

I’d spend on Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro DOT legal Amber Fogs before ditch lights. Use them all the time.

THAT set up you have is what I'm trying to do - if you don't mind can you tell me your set up for the front bumper and the fog light pocket lights- I have been thinking of a setup on top/ over the windshield lights , but these days I' not that much into night time driving- BUT you're set up should fit the bill. Thanks in advance

Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro amber DOT legal fog lights are on the bumper. Also on the bumper are KC Hilite Titan Gravity 6 inch DOT legal driving lights. Bumper brackets are from Specialty Performance Parts for three lights, and are specific to Ford modular bumpers.

White fogs in pocket are OEM LED.

Those brackets are good looking- somehow that valance didn't look strong enough to support lights, but you seem to like them, and they are working good right? My STX did not have fog lights but I think with them brackets that would do the trick- Thanks

Not a plastic valance, a steel bumper. Light brackets are mounted directly to an OEM Ford steel modular bumper, using the inserts and bolts supplied with the bumper for accessories.

Any extra wind noise after installing those ditch lights? I put some tow mirrors on my truck and took them off due to the wind noise they added. I'll just run some extensions when tow.
