Lightbulb A Compilation of The Best Places to Go Off Roading This Summer

I originally wrote this compilation on our blog and is put together a bit better there at truckaddonsinsider so be sure to check it out there as well. Please comment with any big events I have missed. I had a lot of trouble finding a good list, so I figured i'll start it here and people can add to it.

With summer quickly approaching its time to start planning which off-road events you will be going to. There are hundreds of off road events around the country each summer, some big, some small. The club was originally built on an old potato farm in southeast Florida and opened in 2008. Even though it is relatively young, they have had no problem drawing in large crowds for their summer time events. The two biggest being Memorial Day weekend and the 4th of July weekend.

The weekend offers multiple events and amenities. They have an onsite lake and beach, truck wash, truck pulls, live concerts at night, mud bogs, trail riding, plenty of games and adult fun.

Thursday evening is door prize and raffle night where each paid registered driver has an opportunity to win door prizes provided by the contributing vendors of this event. The best part of the event is that proceeds from the All-4-Fun event allow Mile High Jeep Club to continue making annual contributions to Children’s Hospital’s Burn Camp, and to land use projects.

High Desert Round up | Anderson Dry Lake California, May 25-28th -The Hi Desert Round-up is a fund raising event for California Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs Inc. The event is four days of off-roading, games, food and fun. The Hi Desert Round-up will now take place in Anderson Dry Lake in Johnson Valley. The terrain is from sandy to extremely rocky, from flat washes to monster hills so be prepared for some great four-wheeling fun.
