I really like my Cooper Discoverer ATPs, they are exclusive at discounttiredirect and usually under 200 a tire.

You can't go wrong with any of the 2.

How do you plan on using your truck?

You can also check out the Falken AT3 and Nitto's.

Why did you mentioned you are a college student? Are you trying to save $$ and looking for an expensive route?

I've heard a lot of good about maxxis tires in general, I plan on buying them as my next set but I'll probably be buying mud tires

I've had 2 sets of Nitto Terra Grapplers and loved them. they last a long time and balance well. The toyo open country at2 is almost the same tire.

Ive got a set of Ridge Grapplers on my F150 and so far no complaints about the tire. Might be a little aggressive for me if I was daily driving it, but for weekend adventure its a perfect tire.

On my work truck (Chevy 2500) I have a set of 275/70r18 BFGKO2's and so far I love them! Absolutely silent on road and they haven't let me down traction wise. I work Heavy Civil construction so I spend a lot of time driving around dirt sites, but put a crap load of miles on road. So far they have about 28,000 miles on them and still look amazing. Lots more miles to go. But I do rotate them every 5k with the oil change.

If you do not need E rated tires, get the KO2 raptor stockers..they are C rated and makes my truck ride like a caddy... they are cheaper as well

I absolutely love my Cooper AT3's. Quiet on the road an have enough bite to get through what I need them to.

This winter was a bad one, 53" of snow in December alone. Never had one problem with traction.

Do you have any pics of the AT3's in that Raptor size on your truck? I am choosing between these and Yokohama G015's and can't decide if I should go 33" or 34-35".

I have had KO2's and AT 2's, both E rated. What are you using them for? If you are just looking for a bad *** tire, get the KO2. It rides smoother and I think looks a little better. If you want the off road ability, go for the AT2. They do better in mud and rain imo and feel like a stronger tire, although they have a rougher ride than the ko2. I am about to put a new set of Toyo's on after my KO2's wore out in about 30k miles.
