A 35 x 12.5 tire normally take an 8"-11" wheel and really should not be put on anything smaller or bigger . I would say a 10" rim would give you the best fitment and new wheels are not that much unless you go for something over the top . A set of 18x10 will be in the area of 125-250 bucks its all up to what your budget can handle go here and look http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...=prca&fqs=true . As for doing the rear gear yourself if your asking the question thats your answer LOL take it to a shop and have it done by someone who does it all the time should cost you around 225-300 bucks .

It will not be hard at all to find someone to put the tires on. There are literally thousands of people running 35 x 12.5 tires on stock f150 rims,,,, thousands in my city alone.. of course I lI've in the south where you have to travel a 100 miles to find someone that doesn't own a pickup truck

To be honest it is very hard to find a pickup that is not lifted or leveled or doesn't have mud tires anywhere around here

Sure, but what's the width of their stock wheels. That's the difference. I ran 35x12.5's on a 20x8.5 rim. And, it was only said that major chains won't install, which is generally true.

Again, I never said it isn't possible. Just stated that he may run in to problems finding an installer because I was refused service by NTB when mine fell withing range even.

So I called NTB today and talked to the store manager, which I have dealt with previously getting work done for some of my company's work trucks. I explained what I needed done and he laughed, but said to bring it by and he will see if they can get it done.

Told me it would probably take half a day and he would need to put two guys on it with blasters to try and get the bead to seal. We'll see how it goes tomorrow provided the tracking on my tires is correct and I get them today.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Well that's a very different response than I expected. Good luck!

So just picked up my truck about 45 minutes ago from NTB. Looks great and does not appear to be any rubbing.

However, as soon as I jumped on the interstate it shook like hell. Initially, I thought my speedometer was clearly off and maybe I was just going faster than I thought. I decided to get over into the right lane and drive at the same speed as the car in front of me.

That still didn't fix the problem. If my speedometer reads anything below 55mph it rides smoothe, anything above that and the truck is vibrating like hell including the steering wheel.

I am going to call up there tomorrow and probably end up taking it back up there to let them look at it.

Just thought I would share and see if anyone had any thoughts on the cause?

what kind of tires did you get. If you went with mud tires than this vibrating is normal. Think about it, you got 3/4 of an inch grooves hit the pavement at 55mph + .Normally different tires give you a different sound/shake, which you can read in the reviews , but mud tires always vibrate at higher speeds. There are memes all over the Internet about trying to hold a conversation running mud tires on the interstate. They are after all designed to perform througb mud, not concrete. Most people who can't handle the shake go with an all terrain tire that still looks aggressive but rides smoother .
