Default 2016 body lift??

Hey guys!! New to the forum!! I put a 6” lift on my 2016 . Long story short, the tires are JUST too big and rub. I was looking for a small body lift to give me the little clearance I need but can’t find anything anywhere. Do they not make a body lift for my year?? Thanks in advance!!

How big of tires did you put on? Are you using factory or aftermarket wheels? Where are they rubbing? We need more info!

ive got 20x12s afternarkets on it. -44 offset. They rub at the back of the wheel well but only at about 2/3 turned and if I hit a bump (like the curb to my driveway). I got a deal on he wheel tire package online. When we found out they were too big it would cost almost as much to ship them back for an exchange as it would to buy new tires so we went with it.

37s. Too big I know. We mismeasured. I had 35s on a 3” lift on my last truck so I thought I’d be ok. Not so much.

Yup a little big on the tires but I am also kind of surprised that they didn't work with a -44 offset when factory is +44

At this point, I would probably just trim/shave that area to make it work. Damage is already done to that wheel well area and I don't believe there is a bunch of stuff behind there, I could be wrong and there might be something really important on a 2016. Also, I wouldn't (just because I don't like the idea of them) but you could try a wheel spacer and get them out a little farther, don't know if that would help or not but it appears to only be hitting on the inside of the wheel well by your picture.

The only body lift that I know of is the 1" body lift that halo lifts makes, but it is for the 09-14 body style, I don't know if they would work for the 15+ but you can always call and ask. They do have it listed under the 2015+ section so they might very well work.

i was going to cut more but at this point it almost looks almost looks like I’d be cutting into the body. It’s a weird mess of plastic and metal. There’s literally a white plastic piece that looked to be glued. When I cut into it there was metal inside. Weird. Lol. Like I said it’s only at 2/3 turn and when I hit a bump while at 2/3 turn. It doesn’t rub any other time.

and I REALLY don’t want spacers. For one I hate them and also the tires stick out already. If I add spacers I think it’ll be too much.

I agree that with a little more trimming, hopefully you'll be fine.

Do you have any off-road shops in your area? They deal with this all the time. I'm guessing you could pay for an hour of labor and they'd take care of it properly and neatly. Just a thought.
