Default 2015 Sport Screw Larger tires instead of low profile

I am trying to determine the largest size tire I can get away with before having to lift truck. My truck is NOT 4x4 as I live in city but wouldn’t mind taking it to a beach, camping, ranch, etc. It is a Sport. I currently have 24” rims/tires and am looking to change it up to bigger tires. I don’t want to get a lift unless absolutely needed. So Id like to know the largest I can get.
These are some brands/models Im thinking about.

Cooper discoverer

Rbp repulsor

Nitto grappler/terra

Goodyear wrangler

BFgoodrich mud-terrrain T/A

Atturo trail blade

Toyo-Open country m/t

HANKOOK

DYNAPRO ATM RF10

So, I'm assuming you are keeping your 24" wheels?

Stock height you will be able to fit a 305/35/24 - that's mid/large 32" tire

Not really sure how that's going to look.

I’d get 15” or 16” wheels. A good used set of 15s should be easy to find cheap. Keep the 24s too. B.F.G. T/A KO2 is a good tire.

I think 17" is the minimum wheel diameter that'll fit over the brakes. I agree with a smaller wheel though. I don't know how or why skateboard wheels got so popular, but they're about worthless for an off road truck and the ride quality is terrible. Raptor 17's can be had in like-new condition for about $600/set of 4.

Do you mean just taking it TO the beach, or driving ON the beach? I'm sure there are some beaches where a 2wd will be ok (Daytona comes to mind), but for anything around me (NC), you'll need 4x4 and aired down tires.

You get away from the low profile, you're going to need to use smaller wheels or lift it a lot.

As far as tire choice, it sounds to me like a good all terrain would serve you better 99% of the time than a mud tire would. The MT will look better but ride worse and have a lot more road noise. A lot of what you listed cover a wide range of tires..Cooper Discover, Goodyear Wrangler, & Nitto Grappler include pretty much ALL the truck tires those 2 companies make from a stock street tire to hardcore offroad tires. So it's hard to get an idea of what type of tire you are really looking at.

Ok, so that opens up your option A LOT.

You'll have to decide what's most important to you and what look you like, but the best offroad performance is going to come from 17" wheels (that the smallest you can fit over the brakes) that are at least 2-2.5" narrower than your tires. Personally, I would shoot for 2.5" narrower or more. Not sure what sizes fit your model truck in 2wd, but probably somewhere around a 32.

I know you said you didn’t want to lift it but putting on a small leveling kit will help you out a lot in what you are looking for, especially since yours is 2wd and already sits lower.
