Yeah, I get flashed every once in awhile at stock height and you lifted it so you definitely need to adjust them. And the fog lights are a yellowish tint because the lower the temperature, the better they work in fog. Of course the HIDs kinda overpower them haha

Default The Beast

The Beast,

Year: 2010

Model:XLT

Milage:23000

Mods/Custom Work:K/N cold air intake system, Superchips Flashpaq programer, aftermarket leather seats, Viper alarm system with remote start, Flowmaster Dual exhaust, Backflip folding bed cover, after market hitch, double 10' Kicker subwoofers on a 500W Alpine amp, Plasti-dipped black wheels, and tinted back windows

Description: My 2010 Beast, had it for a little over a year now and i just cant stop adding stuff to it. Had 9000 when i got it now its got 23000 and i just love it! When i first saw this truck at the dealer i was not too wild about it since it is just an XLT because i had really wanted a Lariat but as soon as i heard that baby start up with the Flowmaster Exhaust my eyes opened wide and i said, "I got to get this truck!"

Why did you Nominate this truck: Well I just joined this awesome forum and i know that its not the coolest truck out there but i think its still pretty cool and i wanted to see how well it would do.

Mods/Custom Work: 6 Inch BDS lift, 20 Inch XD Crank wheels with Toyo Open Country 35's, MBRP Stainless Exhaust, AFE Cold Air Intake, Extang Tri Fold Soft Tonneau Cover, Recon Smoked Mirror Lenses, 2010 STX Grill.

Description: This is my second F150, Always had F250's and F350's but don't need to tow as much as I used to. This is one of the nicest riding trucks I have ever had.

Why did you Nominate this truck: Because I did as much research as possible to find the best components for the best performance, ride and fit. Just enough mods without going over the top and of course because it's mine and I love it!!

I wanted the old style lights but its a disaster to swap, they are the same size but the wiring harness has to be changed to do it and it's part of the engine wiring harness according to Ford. After a few days they grew on me, now I like them alot except I am CONSTANTLY (as in daily or nightly I should say) getting lights flashed at me as if I have my high beams on, naturally I respond with my high beams back at them and that usually shuts them up! Besides being extremely bright, I am sure being 6 inches higher is putting them at an awkward angle, I have to adjust them down a little somehow I guess! One thing I don't like is the fog/driving lights look yellow in comparison to the headlights, I ordered a set of bright white led bulbs off of ebay for the fog lisght, let's see if that makes a difference.
You sir, have one gorgeous truck. I agree with Irish, the headlights didn't look stock. But I do recommend adjusting your headlights; I'm sure its not fun for smaller cars to get blinded by your truck. Once again, beautiful truck!

Default Nomination

I don't know this member, or the details of his build, but I was impressed and thought I would nominate his truck.
