Default Will I be able to clear 38's?

Im looking into a 6 inch suspension lift on top of a 3 inch body by zone offroad. With the goal being able to clear 38 inch militarys on some steel wheels. nothing too flashy. what are some problems I can expect to face with the front end? or power loss, I have a 2003 Fx4 with a 4.6. stock. kind of a noob to this so someone gimme a hand!

Your going to have to re gear for sure but there are a few guys running 37s with the same set up so I would think with some trimming you should be good to go. But this is just my opinion.

You will have serious power loss those military tires have steel sidewall plies and are incredibly heavy. You will definitely need a regear and you can expect bearings and the like to wear out a lot faster. It's just a lot of mass to turn.
