Default Wheels and tires

I really hate to ask one of these wheel and tire question but here goes. I have a 2018 SCAB that is stock height. I am looking at a set of 18 x 9 with 18 offset wheels(TIS 538B). There is also a great deal on tires in 2 different size. The tire sizes are 255 65/18 or 265 60/18. I am leaning towards the 255 65 as they are taller and will fill the wheel well more and stay under the fender a tad more..

Stock tire size on my 2016 is 275/65-18. I'm driving four wheel drive.
Actually my stock size is 275/55-20 but somebody changed the factor wheel for another factory wheel. Same overall size though.

I will assume you have a 2wd since you're advertising installing a smaller tire than my truck came with stock? And I am not familiar with the size options on a 2wd model.

Only asking in case you have 4wd and are misreading tire labels and make a choice you may not be happy with.

Also, in my opinion, I would not install a 255 or 265 tire on a 9" rim.
What does the wheel manufacturer list as tire width options for the wheel you're looking at.

It is a 4 x4. For a 9" wheel they recommend 235 to 275 as far as I am able to tell. Also I do not do any off road.

Double check your numbers then -seems like you are downsizing your new tires. Not sure you intended to downsize.
