I don't have them on my truck, but I have several buddies running them on their Jeeps and they haven't had any problems. They tend to push their rigs pretty hard too.

Bad idea, your wheel bearings are designed to take the load of the truck in specific way. Changing that loading will shorten the life of your wheel bearings. Do not mess with the suspension unless you spend the money to do it properly, and that can get very expensive.

I isn't the best idea. It also generaly isn't the end of the world either. If you are only looking for .5-.75 of an inch you should be ok. Again it does at some extra wear but so does, not driving like a grandma all the time.

Mis-Information / Myth / Urban Legend / etc., etc., etc..

Properly sized and used spacers / adapters have no ill effect nor impact on the bearings and/or suspension. They infact add the necessary material to the rear of the rim mounting surface to regain OEM rim offset and/or backspacing spec's.

Have used spacers / adapters on a WIDE variety of vehicles ( cars and trucks ) for over 30 years without any failures nor premature bearing wear / failure. Most of those vehicles acquired 150,000+ miles.

Do not mess with the suspension unless you spend the money to do it properly, and that can get very expensive.
Quality does not necessarily mean excessive $$$$$, though quality t'ain't cheap either.

One key factor is hub centric.

Remember ...
The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low co$t is forgotten.
