Default Wheel spacers

I have a 2010 stx stock stance rims and tires...would like to put wheel spacers on for a wider stance and wonder the size of spacers I can get away with being stock stance or the need of a leveling or lift kit to do so...looking at 2" spacers would like some feedback

So.. you are keeping stock wheels and tires and just want to add "hub centric" 2" wheel spacers..

They say 1.5" is the thinnest spacer that you will not have to trim studs.

Just be careful with 1.5" spacers as some of the OEM Ford wheels do not have enough of a recess on the back of the wheel to accommodate the slight protrusion of the stud that you get with the 1.5" spacer.

I don't know exactly which wheels are like that but all you need to do is take the wheel off and look. You should have recess pockets in between the stud holes.

I also read the factory steel wheel used for the spare tire won't work with the 1.5" spacer so plan accordingly.
