Wheel opinions (FX2 street truck)
I'm looking to get some wheels for my truck. Probably 22's in 305/45 tires.
I just bought some new 2013 Ford F150 OEM HID projectors in all black. So I photoshopped two of my wheel choices so far on a newer looking F150 since it has the lights.
Interested to hear your thoughts on these two wheels. I'm leaning towards the Bravado Axe's as its a cleaner and classier looking wheel IMHO. I am wanting to lower the rear of the truck to level it as well.
2Crave No 4 wheels in gloss black inner spokes, machined face, chrome or machined lip...
Seen on this Durango....
-Or-
Bravado Performance Axe wheels in graphite with mirror machined face and lip...
Seen on this truck....

I'm in the same boat as you...I've been looking for months at wheels and am also looking for more of a 'street' look for my truck. It's a '12 but I have retrofit projectors.
I definitely prefer the Bravado brand. The first set has that flower-type of effect, where the spokes recede/peel back from the center into the rim, if you get what I mean. I'm not a fan of that effect and much prefer styles where the center and spokes remain flat, recessed or otherwise.
The Bravados will look great; you can probably stop looking, lol. Another set I like are the Lexani Johnson ll, as seen in the link below:

The limited wheels are chrome though aren't they? I have an FX2 so there isn't a drop of chrome on my truck. They are also going for more than a set of custom wheels and tres would run me. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-22-FORD...81e7db&vxp=mtr. Otherwise I like the design of them but don't want too bright of a finish.
I think that's part of the reason why I'm drawn to the Bravado's. They are machined and have some graphite colors in them similar to how my stock 18" FX2 wheels are in terms of finishes.
Damn choosing wheels is so frustrating . Every time you think you have it narrowed down to one you like you end up stumbling across some other sweet wheel out there. I've been looking for a while seeing wheels in my sleep. Too many out there !!

Ordered my Bravado Axe's today! Apparently they are made to order so going to have to wait but truck should look great with them on. I decided on 305/40r22 tire size. It's pretty close to the stock 18" wheels and tires on it now.

Got a question for you guys. The tire and wheel shop mentioned I would need to get new TPMS sensors with the new wheels. I told them I didn't think my truck has any TPMS on it as I've never seen an option in the menu to display tire pressures. Is there my way I can read off my VIN or some setting to know if my truck has it or not?
