I have 2010 fx4 with stock 20's. I want to get new wheels and nitto trail grapplers 305/55 r20. Want to know what is the best/least offset I can get. I will add a level kit on front but no lift right now. Found some 18mm offset that I like but wanna get 0 offset if possible to widen the stance. Is this possible or too much negative offset? thanks. Pics of 0 and 18 offset and in between appreciated.

 

A 305/55/20 is a 33 inch tire, with or without a leveling kit it will fit youre 4wd, if you go with a 9in wide rim id go with something around a 4.5 inch backspacing that will put the tire out about 2.5 inches from stock, if you go with a 10 inch wide rim I would stick with stock backspacing which is about 5.5 so that will still put you at about 2.5 inches further out than stock.

I have been looking at mostly 9 inch wheels and have it narrowed down to procomp 8188, ballistic wizard, and american racing crawl. just so hard to really know what the black and machined look will be like on my truck. I have been using photoshop alot and searching the net....wife thinks I am crazy and tired of me asking "what about these.."

 

as an aside does anyone think white truck with black/machined wheel would look better with white letters on tires or just black wall? thanks

 

Which wheel offest/backspacing did you go with? I'm looking at these http://4wheelonline.com/BMF_Wheels_S....144018.513213
with 0 offset and 5" backspacing. If I've done the math correcty these will stick out about 2.5" more than stock. Anyone with pics of this setup. Oh yea, I'm gona run 305/55/R20
