Default What tires do you tow with?

Just got a 2011 4x4 Screw Lariat and the Wrangler SR A tires were so soft I talked the dealer into putting the Michelin LTX at's from my Tundra on it. They are much better but I am wanting something a little stiffer. When I bought them, I was told the E series in the same tire was really hard and didn't think I wanted anything that hard as I tow only half the time driving the truck. I tow a 16' box trailer with 6000 lbs total weight.

What would be a good tire between p series and a e class tire?

If you run a e class tire, can you lower the pressure for a better ride?

Thank you for your time.

I have 265/70/17 toyo h/t's. They are just regular truck tires. Rated at like 2600 pounds each. They tow fine. How much weight will you tow?
