Default What offset/backspacing for XD Addicts?

I want the 20" XD Addicts but I just did a test install of my friend's wheels which are 20x9 XD Addicts backspace 4.50 and offset -12 and they stuck out almost 4 inches. What do I need to have as far as backspace or offset so that they only stick out about an inch and a half?
Vendors feel free to help and I will order the wheels off of you.

Ok, so Ive read that I need a positive offset of around 15 in order to be more factory like. What would the backspacing need to be?

I believe there's only one other offset in that wheel which is a +18. Wheel should stick out about .5". If you're looking for your wheel to stick out 1.5" you should find a wheel with a zero offset. My wheels are zero offset and they stick out about 1.5". Backspacing on my wheels is 5" I believe.

Ok, I just spoke to my friend and he says that his wheel is +18 not -12. So now I'm really confused haha! This particular style of wheels may just not work for me. Like I said, I did a test fit of his and with the 305 Nittos they were sticking out nearly four inches.

Iv been wondering the same thing about rims lol. Addicts are one of the rims I like for my truck but like you I dont want them sticking out very far. I dont wana have to buy expensive fender flares but yet I dont want everything being thrown up all over the side of my truck. we have alot of gravel roads around here and I live off one to.

Well I think that I have it figured out. My buddy double checked and his are -12 offset which is why they stick out so far. The only other offset that the XD Addicts come in are +18. This is what I will be purchasing due to them not sticking out much more than the stock wheels.
