Default traction control kicking on

so just installed some new wheels and tires on my 2010 lariat.

18x9 fuel hostage +1
35 inch kuhmo road venture MT

when turning left or right on curves i feel the truck jerk and seek that the TCS system has kicked on. Im assuming this is because of the increase tread and it is shifting enough on a turn to kick the TCS on. is there anyway around this beside turning the TCS off every time i get in the truck?

I'm not familiar with the issue. Haven't heard of that happening... Someone will chime in.

still have no answer. its happened a few more times but only when i turn left at certain speeds and degree of turning. it almost seems like something inside the drive train for the front differential. might be taking it to the dealer soon to get it checked out.

Check your wheel bearings for wear. I just had to replace front driver's side as it was shot and was causing my abs to act up. I would assume that the traction control would operate off the same wheel sensors as the abs. Could be causing your issue

Sorry to rehash this old thread.. More than likely your problem is the bigger tires throwing the TCS system on. There is a TSB for it 11-2-5. Try taking the truck to a dealer to get it reflashed.
