I have a 2008 f150 XL 4x4. Currently has 255 70 17 could I go up to 265 70 17 with no issues? Was told 265 65 17 was the limit on the stock set up?

 

Your 255/70R17 is 31" tall, the 265/65R17 is 30.5" tall. So technically you're past the limit! lol. The 265/70R17 is only 5/8" taller than what you have, I imagine it should fit fine, but hope someone corrects me if I am wrong.

 

Good point lol just want to make sure there will be no rubbing with a 265 70 17. New to this tire game.
