Tire selection advice please
Hello, This is my first post and it concerns buying tires for first time for 2013 F-150, super cab with 3.5L Eco. Have almost 40,000 miles on Goodyear Wrangler SRA P275/65R18 tires with enough tread to last another 6 months but but with Winter coming, will buy 4 tires in November. Driving is rarely off road and do tow travel trailer about 6,000 miles a year if that is important. I have been searching internet for reviews and opinions but there is just too much info and varying opinions out there to digest.
Are there one or two clear best choices for all season tires that I should consider?
Thank you,
Bob

Bob:
I would strongly suggest you go to websites like www.discounttires.com and www.tirerack.com and read the reviews. If that is too much info and varying opinions, as you state, coming to a site like for a few dozen opinions is not the right way to go.
Companies like Consumer Reports also rate tires without bias. Here's a post I did from a few years ago, and Michelin is the tire you should consider. https://www.f150forum.com/f2/tire-ra...0/#post3732330
The current Michelin model would be the Defender. There is no reason for snow tires in O_io. Unless you have issues with your Goodyear Wranglers while towing, just get the LTX M/S.
Too bad you didn't act sooner, Discount Tire has great Labor Day sales. Next big sale will be Memorial Day. You can get a $70 rebate from Michelin and a $30 rebate if you use your Discount Tire credit card. Would have been $160 back then total rebates.
