One of the online reviews I read about the TerrainContacts said they take about 700 miles to break in. I would agree with that. Now that I have about 1000 miles on them, they seem to handle bumps and potholes smoother than when they were first put on. The rear end would bounce around a bit when I first got them but now they don't. Here are a couple of pics on the truck.

I got my tires mounted today they are the continental terrain at really nice tire truck rides much better we got a few inches of snow yesterday and the Pirellie’s scorpions really suck in the snow. The steering feels lighter and the whole truck has a lighter feel I guess that’s what new tires do for you. The only problem was tire shop scratched all four wheels big time installing them, so they are sending them out on Monday to be refinished. I can’t believe with the modern wheel machines you could do that kind of damage and not see it and tell the shop Forman it’s scary the talent level of these so called techs. Any way initial impressions are very good, they look nice handle well just have to see how they are in the snow and wet roads.

I am happy with them we haven't had any big snow storms this year just 3 to 4 inches and they have performed well. Check them out I would purchase them again for sure.

So I contacted Tire Rack to see when the winter testing would be out. They said in the next month or so. Also told me that the Cooper and Bridgestone came out on top. Followed by the Pirelli then the Continental last.
I am picking up a set of the Cooper AT3 4S because Fleet Farm has a buy 3 get 1 free deal going on. Hoping we have no more snow but I will probably have some reviews for you soon.

Got the Cooper AT3 4S installed today. They are quiet and ride extremely smooth. I can feel what tire rack meant about the Coopers continued bounce over bumps but I just took off e load tires so these are way better in every ride comfort way!

I have about 400 miles on the Coopers now. They're the best truck tire I've ever used in wet weather. I can hammer on the gas from a stop, going around the corner, or whatever and they don't lose traction at all. Ride smooth and they're quiet
