Tire help
I bought my truck used and it had Nitto terra grapplers on it. They have about 50,000 on them and they need to be replaced. I am looking at reccomendations for some new tires. LOVE the way BFG AT's look but they are spendy! I do a lot of hunting and a lot of in town driving/interstate driving as well so I need something aggresive yet confortable, 275/55/20
I know some will disagree, but for semi agressive/ comfortable/ and Quiet, I had Goodyear Wrangler AT Silent Armours on my last truck (2001 2WD screw) and really liked them alot. They kept balance, and wore well for me. Before that I had Terra Grapplers, and they were a good tire but got hard and loud after about 30,000 miles or so (Oh Yeah...discount tire gave me the Goodyears for the same price as the Terra Grapplers)
As far as BFG's being spendy, you have 20's so get used to high prices on AT tires....That's why I stuck with the 18's on my Lariat.
I'm really missing the AT Tires on my new Lariat Screw. It has the OEM Michelin AS now......I'm enjoying the quiet smoothe ride and am reluctant to get new tires yet(only have 1500 miles on the 2010) but am probably gonna pull the trigger soon.
