Default Thinking about a lift

Hi everyone. I've had my 2015 for about 8 months now and I'm thinking about adding a lift. I've been checking out the BDS 4 inch lift and I was hoping some of you all could give me some feedback. Any complaints about this kit? Thanks in advance for any advice any of you have.

Do you have a 2WD or 4WD? Do you have a budget in mind? How are you going to be using your truck? Are you only set on BDS?

I have 4WD with a 5.0. Not set on BDS at this time, just looking at it because I have heard a lot of positive feedback. I won't be taking it through the woods just yet, want to try and keep it looking nice at least until it's paid off.

BDS makes a great kit with a large price. Zone is also BDS but a bit cheaper, same quality but if I remember correctly they will reuse some parts already on your truck instead of making you spend more for Fox coilovers.

There a many different kinds of kits you can get (not just brands) but it depends on your budget and intentions

What's your budget? What kind of offroading? (I'm repeating what Baja is asking lol)

Budget would be around $2000-2500 for the kit. Install no factor as I will do this. As far as off roading type, I won't be doing any mud bogs or anything like that. Mainly just some easy trails here and there

Look at RCX 4" kit and remember some kits will not allow you to use stock wheels..

Good advice about the wheels. I'm still thinking about keeping them for a little while after the lift so thanks for the heads up

I've never been a fan of a lift, but love the leveling kits from Rancho.
Before 36 3/4 inches from ground to the top of the inner fender
After I put the quick lift with new BFG KO2 tires in 34x12.5x18 the same measurement is 40 1/2 inches, so almost a full four inches of lift and with the new Rancho 9000 shocks on the rear the front and rear are exactly level, but that's just my opinion.

That's a good point, definitely something to look at. Thanks

I think I am going to go with a BDS 4 inch with fuel assault wheels in 20x9. I don't want the tires sticking out too far so I think I'll stay with original wheel size. Tire size is 275/65/20, should be 34 inch tire. Also anyone have anything negative about the Toyo open country at2 tires?
