Default Is there a equal size??

IM not good at understanding the tire sizes and tried to use tire size calculators last night, with no success. My current tire size is 275/55/r20. (31.90"). I was going to put on 275/60/20 (32.99) to give me the inch in height but same width. I saw a truck similar to mine with 305's on it. I do not want to go that large but got me thinking about maybe a 285 tire. But what size is comparable to the 275/60 that gives me an inch of height to be around a 33 inch tire. I have moto metal wheels 951 that are as close to the stock offsets as they could be. Don't quote me but maybe a 30 offset. I want the height for sure but my truck also has the stock fender flares so a little wider might look even better with the height. Unsure and not competent in tires. Please help.

The way it breaks down is 275/55/20... 275 mm wide 55 percent of the width is your sidewalk height 20 is your rim.... You can use that equation to figure out what tire you want

When I would put sizes into the calculator it would tell me it wasn't a recognizable size. I found a 285/55/r20 but it's only a fraction larger than my original size. I can't seem to find a real size that an actual 33 inch tire in a 285.

The 305x55x20's are 33.2x12.6, they ought to look good on your truck if it's a leveled 4x4. I have them on my stock wheel's and even ran them at stock height for awhile, Close on the inside but no rubbing.

Aren't the 305 you speak of a whole lot wider than the stock 275's??

Yes, they are 1 inch taller and close to 1 1/2 inches wider. Wide wheels need wide tires!
