Default Question about upsizing tires

Hey guys, new to the site and hoping you fellas can help me out. I have a 2007 XLT supercrew cab (2wd) and am in the market for new tires. Stock tires are 265-60R18s I am thinking of putting on some 275-65R18s; can anyone tell me
How much gas mileage I can expect to lose with that slight increase? I know it will throw my speedspeedometer, tripometer, and odometer off; and I've read that I can have those recalibrated to the larger tires, any ideas as to where I could have that done? Lastly, would the larger tires affect my gearing and subsequently my truck's acceleration? Thanks in advance for any info and/or advice you can offer, and for tolerating my ignorence on the matter.

In all honesty the loss of MPG would be negligible.

As far as mileage, it depends on what you have now and what you are going to get. Tire weight has more to do with mileage than height (in this small change anyway). You might have a heavy load range E tire, and the new tires might be a light load range C, so you might get better mileage. Larger tires will affect acceleration, yes. Again though, it depends on how heavy your tires are. As far as re-calibration of the speedo, any Ford dealership should be able to do it.

This dude has it right. It won't be too bad. But even from an all terrain tire to a mud tire in the same size you'll see a drop dur to weight of the tire.
