Default Power loss?

I just put a 2in auto spring on my truck and need help choosing a tire size. I'm stuck between a 285/65/18 or 305/65/18. If I go with the 305, is it going to take power? What about my shift points?

The 285 is a 33" the 305 is a 34", the taller you go the more pulling power you lose. The 305's would look better in my opinion. A programmer will help as it did in my case with the 315's I've been running. If you have 3.73 gear's the loss won't be as bad as with 3.55's. To me the 305x65x18 is a great fit on a leveled 4x4. Just my 2 cent's.

I do have the 3.73 gears. I'm just worried about gas millage and power. What kind of loss am I looking at? The tire calculator says it will be 33.6x11.2x18. Thanks for the help.
