What is the performance impact of 275/60R20 on 2016 5.0L w/ 3.55?
Anyone running a P275/60R20 or 275/60R20 on a 2015-2017 5.0L with 3.55 gears? I am interested in opinions on the performance impact?
Background: I ran BFGoodrich LT275/60R20 (33" @ 58 lbs. per tire) for 3000 miles and the negative impact on shift points and torque was too much. I swapped over to LT285/55R20 (32.6" @ 58 lbs per tire) and do not have any complaints. However, I no longer need the E rated tires or the harsher ride when empty.
I am considering going back to P275/60R20 or 275/60R20 (33" @ 41-44 lbs. per tire), but need some feedback on the performance impact. I believe returning to the 275/60R20 will work since it drops about 16 pounds per tire from the LT275/60R20.

No problem with those on my current ecoboost, nor my past 2015 EB with 3.55 gearing. But then again, it's an EB!
Really you should have no issues being the mentioned size is almost the same weight as stock tires.
If you ever go back to a 10 ply, I just stumbled across these and are much lighter than a typical 10 play, well, at least in the size I'm looking at:
