offset questoin?

if I want tires to stop rubbing what would be the best offset for rims?
its an 06 f150 heavy payload (7-lug) with 2.5 inch level with stock 315/17/70s and they are rubbing on the control arm and a-arm and want that to stop without buying spacers I want to know how much offset I need to get rid of rubbing.....
