Offset & Backspace - How Do They Relate?
Ok, I am slowly understanding more and more of this
So, I'm assuming that with a 9" wheel with a +12mm offset, I will have no issues with rubbing with my current setup, right (if I keep the same size tires)?
Also, If I were to go with 305/65/17, what offset/backspace would I need to go with to avoid any kind of rubbing (if possible)? I would like the wheel to stick out of the fender about an inch if possible.
You're awesome! Also, I would like to purchase my wheels and tires from you- so when I decide what to go with, I will give you a call

Thank you for the additional information.
Quick correction to my example post regarding how far the wheels will stick out. The 17x9 +12 mounted with 285/70-17's will stick out 0.75" in the rear and the front will stick out 1.25".
For your fitmentRaiderH8r89, If you have 4WD, you should be able to run the 305/65-17's with little to no rubbing. If you have 2WD, then I would stick with the 285/70-17's as the 305's will be pretty tight.

Hey Discount Tire, I have a couple questions since you have all the knowledge
94 4x4 here, I'm curious what the offset is on the stock (15") rims? Also, I have the truck leveled, so what tires could I fit and not have to worry about rubbing? I'll probably be sticking to 10.5" wide tires since I will be keeping the stock rims

Which tire size came OE on your truck?
