Default Back from trip

Well Guys

I have driven just under 5000 miles with the Crosstek HD's in a month's time. I have to say they are probably so far the best tire I have had on any truck. I did 3800 mile round trip from PA to TX. We cam across rain, golf ball size hail, mud, dirt, concrete, blacktop, and hot temp. They were quite, responsive and never missed a beat. The pressure did fluctuate +/- 2 psi but I think that is due to temp and alt. Overall a very good buy.

That's what I was hoping for. I'd still like to see what they can do off road. I'm not really ever going off road, I'm just curious.

Nice. I like them. Maybe not for my truck but for my wife's 4wd explorer. I like Trail Grapplers for my truck when I get new tires. The stock tires are crap on the explorer but the CrossTek look like a winner. Was gonna go with Terra Grappler's but may try these. Thanks for posting and showing me a new tire.

Well, just bought some Crosstek (non HD) 265-70-17 for my wife's Yukon XL. Got them at NTB for $575 out the door which includes the road haz, etc. I liked the 30 day guarantee as well.

I am happy to read some decent feedback on the site. I will put some mileage on these and update as well.

What pressure y'all running? They pumped in 36-38 PSI on my tires and the Yukon feels sluggish during initial acceleration. Guess it is time for the chalk test.

Honestly I don't have any miles on mine because I've been too lazy to put the rear in but I just got my tuner in the mail so I'm hoping to get it done this weekend. I also have to fab some bumper brackets to bring my rear bumper up 3 inches to match the body lift. It's just too dang hot to get anything done and I've been procrastinating. I'm glad these guys like them though, I was a little afraid because I'd never heard of them when I got them. I've got 45 psi in my 285/70/17s but I think 38-40 should be good in yours.

Default Aggressive appearance !

Just picked these up for my my00 Expedition 4x4 xlt. Very nice looking and ride real smooth. Paid $709 out the door at tire kingdom including lifetime balance rotation and tire hazard as well as one year alignment It was part of the buy two get two free coupon. Good looking tires

Won't be long and I'll be able to try them out in the snow. I'm pretty confident they'll do just fine.
