Default Need help deciding on new tires

2018 F150 XLT super cab currently on stock 275/65r18’s. I tow an 8000# travel trailer on the outer beaches with deep sand. Don’t want to get too aggressive with tread and I never Do mud/rock trails. Deciding between Cooper Discoverer AT3 and Toyo Open country AT3. Coopers come in at a lowered price point and have less aggressive tread. Next decision is I’d like a wider tire. I have a 2” leveling kit on front end. What size can I go To that would put more patch on the ground but not interfere with shocks wheel wells or drive train????

I have been running Coopers exclusively for the last 15+ years on all my vehicles. My 2019 Jeep commuter has Firestones that came from the factory and they SUCK!!! Saving for new skins currently.

I think you can go to 285/65/18 with no issue but will be tight- worth getting a more qualified opinion on that. I'm running 275/70/18 with no rubbing and plenty of clearance- I can easily fit my hand between tire and crashbars and steering knuckle with the wheel pointed in any direction. Both those tires are good, double check the load ratings for the size you want and get the ones you like.
