Default LT tire question

Hi everyone. My 09 screw 4x4 came standard with p rated 255/70/17 tires. I'm thinking of upgrading to 285/70/17 and maybe into either a D or E rated LT.
Anyone else done this?
How is the ride quality (harshness)?
What tires did u put on and how do u like them?

Thanks in advance. Pics of tires in that size would be helpful too.

Cheers

Your OE tire has a 4 ply rating as opposed to the D (6 ply rating) and E (10 ply rating). Your truck just does not have the weight that the heavier duty trucks have.

Give us a call if we can answer specific questions.
C=6 ply
D=8 ply
E=10 ply

No????

Anywhere from 35-45 depending on if you are empty or hauling.
