leveling kit

Default leveling kit

Thinking of installing a leveling kit myself. should i get a 1 1/2 inch or 2 for front leveling kit. and any recommendations on where to get it from and brand?

I see no one answered yet... first thing to do is measure from your tire to the peak of your wheel well on both your front and rear tires. The difference will determine the height of your level kit. Some members like to keep some of the original rake and install a kit slightly below the difference in height, keeping the rear end slightly higher than front.

As far as manufacturer goes there's tons out there, I have a 2.5" Hell Bent Steel in my 2006 F150 4x4. They make a good kit, and its affordable. There's a ton of posts on this site talking about leveling kits, how high to go, how to install, etc.

I also have the Hell Bent Steel 2.5" leveling kit and it's an awesome product for my 04 f150 fx4. I don't know if you will be level with 1.5 or 2. Depends on truck of course
