Default Keeping 17s

Hello all I am new to the site and just got my 09 screw black. I want to up grade the tires and rims but was wondering if you all have any advise on keeping the stock 17 size rims? I am planning on getting a 2" lift as well. Would the 17s look really small in there and what sizes do you suggest. Any help would be great I am on research over load.. Thanks all! Also I do not want to regear and lose all my MPGs .. Thanks

1 word: RAPTOR.

Raptor's use 17" wheels and 35" BFG AT ko's 17's have become the new 15's of the tire world so you should have plenty of options no matter what you are looking to do

Thought these 295x70x17 Toyo MT's looked pretty good on 17x9 American Racing wheels on the '04 Lariat I had. Good balance of tire and wheel!

I wouldn't keep the stock 17's. the standard Xlt 17's are skinny and won't give you the stance that makes the raptor rims look good. And watch out on aftermarket 17's...some stick waaaay out.

I'd really check out the grey fx4 20's. I went with raptors and wish I hadn't.
