Default Increase tire size

Hey all, I have an 11XLT 2wd scab with the 3.7l and 3.73's. Stock tire size is 265/60r18 and I'm wondering what the pros and cons would be if I jumped up to a 275/70r18. I know there would be a loss in mpgs and the speedometer, but would they also fit without a level and not rub? I want to keep my stock rims also. I've looked through the wheel and tire fitment guide but I couldn't find answers to my questions.

You'll probably get a few responses over the weekend, but try bumping again on Monday (or any week day) when most folks are on the forum at work as well.

check this site out, it'll show you just how much difference the two tires will be.

I've used it to compare what I did, I went from 255/65R17 to 325/60R18. I don't rub but I also put in a 2.5 level kit.

Thanks. So there's an 8% difference it looks like. I thought 3% was recommended, but who listens to recommendations? Lol. How much of a power/acceleration hit did you take?

To be honest I'm not completely sure, the 4.6 Triton isn't very strong to begin with, I haven't notice a power loss per say.

What I have notice is a bumpier ride with the wider tires
