I recently replaced the cheap hankook 235-70-17 tires on my 2007 supercab 150 4 x 4 with 255-70-17 general grabber at2. After about 600 miles I started to feel and see the steering wheel shake in between 60 and 65 mph,not real hard but a real annoyance.I took the truck back to the ford dealer and they rebalanced them,and that did not help. They tried balancing them again and found out there balancing machine was broke,so they sent me to a different tire shop and they balanced them,but I still had the problem so I went back to the ford dealership and asked for different tires. Now I need help in deciding what tires to get I really like the generals,but am a little leary of trying another set . I really hope the tires are the problem the dealership says everything on the truck is tight,but I watched them check it out and they did a half *** job.Any opinions on what tire to get would be helpful or any opinions if the tires are even my problem.Thanks

Don't know about the new Grabber's, but I had some 235x85x16's on my 2000 F250, factory tires that were nothing but problems. Even had one split in the sidewall area and they rode so rough they would rattle your eyeballs when you hit a bump. I'm not a big fan of General tires even though they seem to be improving in the look's dept.

 

Put a set of goodyear slent armors on today problem solved.
