Question help!!!

i have 35x12.50x18 nitto mud grapplers. love the tires but a lil rough on the pavement. i need second set though. here's why. im going on vacation to north carolina in january. i will be in the mountains driving through windy, steep, and possiably snowny conditions to get to the cabin. i need a tire that can perform well on the highway and in some 4x4 situations. i'm thinkin an all terrain, but i need some sugestions. so far i'm leaning to the bfg all terrain.

have you considered the toyo open country at load range e. They are a nice looking tire, supposedly tame road manners. That is what I am planning on installing once I get the lift installed on my truck.

i had a buddy with those on and they are pretty quite but they make your truck act a little different when riding on the interstate. when getting on the interstate there is a divider on the pavement that kinda sling-shots the truck onto the road......other than that they are okay mud/pavement tires

BuckShot Maxxis Mudders. They run great on pavement and offroad(pull great) and they look good too.

I have to agree with SWAMFISIN...the Buckshot Maxxis Mudders FTW! I have had mine on my 97 f150 ext. cab for about 4k miles and they perform 100% on and off road and have minimal road noise.
