Default Fx4 Wheels and tires

Hey guys I am new and am a proud owner of a 2011 ford f150 xlt. I purchased a set of 20 inch fx4 black out take off rims. Im curious if i could run these rims with a set of nitto trail grapplers and a 6 inch bds lift kit. I really would like to so I can not have to buy new rims. Thanks in advanced guys! I will be posting pics of my ride soon.

Sounds to me like it would work out great. Depending on the tire size a 6" lift may be too high unless you like alot of space between tire and fender.

Ah. Thank you for the reply. Im going with the 35.5s i think is what the tires measured out to with a bds or procomp lift. Still debating on the lift. Its the last exterior mod needed to make my truck finished. Then I begin performance work.

If your worried about the tire looking thin on the rim, the rim size is 8.5 so a 285 or higher would overlap the rim no problem. Is that what you were asking?

No. I was more or less worried if the rim would work with a set of offroad 35.5s and would they work with a nice lift. Thats my main concern. I spent alot on them and would hate to go buy a new set of rims.
