Its aggravating to know its there but doesn't show up unless hooked to computer..
I have had the U0422 code for over two years, since this find was first posted by Spart. It is annoying that you can't make it go away, but it's harmless. On the TCM absence, be sure you are using the latest version of Forscan.

Has anyone ever figured out what the precise upper limit is for tire size? I should probably program that into my spreadsheet...

I have a 17 f150 with 3.5. When i enter tire value in hex for 35 in tires i get p160a and relearn does not clear it. Does anyone have the fix for this?

Default Cannot get rid of wrench

Has anyone else with 17 or newer and 10 speed been able to correct for 35s and clear wrench after? Relearn feature on forscan does not help.

I updated the OP with some 2021 info but it needs confirmed to work in the 14th gen F150. Has already been confirmed to work in the 6th gen (2020+) Explorer.

Tire size seems to be encoded the exact same way but across two different addresses. So if your hex-encoded tire size is 09FE, it would be in the as-built as follows:

726-15-01 xxxx xxxx 09xx
726-15-02 FExx xxxx xxxx

Please let me know here if you find success with this.

I'm having trouble getting this to work on my 2019. I've tried a number of different known-good codes and I tried adjusting the circumference directly as well. I've run the relearn function on the TCM and PCM, but still get a U0422 DTC in the PCM. Seems like the guys above are having the same issue in their 2017s. Anyone know what the fix is for this?
