I replaced the steel rims on my 2013 with 9L3Z1007A.
I added chrome lug nuts. Is there an after market or OE center cap that fits without using lug nuts to hold it on?
I tried that center cap (PN 9L34-1A096-AC) Is great with the OE lug nuts, but my truck has aftermarket extra long 70mm long x 19mm drive chrome lug nuts and I want to keep them. They stick out too far and aren't flanged to hold center caps.. I have tried 7L14-1A096-DB These have the look and stud gage I want, but the diameter is too small.
I was considering getting aluminum blanks machined to fit and drill holes for lug nuts and use M1096KBCT 4" center caps in those. That can be expensive, and I would have to leave a rim with the machine shop for a week to a month for the job to get done. If I had access to a lathe I could do it myself, but all I have is a drill press,

I would simply get the correct lug nuts for the center caps. Those wheels with the recessed area around the lugs will look way better with the oem caps compared to anything fabbed up.
