Beware of eagle wheels!!!!
BEWARE!!!!!! American Eagle Wheel Corp. / BOSS / Eagle Alloys / MSR / USA FORGED. My Eagle Series 197 Chrome wheels began pitting in the 1st few month of ownership. Eagle representative from their HQ voided my warranty because he said I didn’t follow the proper maintenance per their INSTALLATION GUIDE AND WHEEL OWNER’S MANUAL (see below) which may require “Regular Cleaning…possibly weekly”….YES, WEEKLY!!!!!
Important: All warranty claims will be voided if improper maintenance or improper cleaning agents are used. Your new wheels do require care to maintain their factory appearance.
Regular Cleaning: Typical road soils tend to trap moisture that can cause corrosion over a period of time. Brake dust, caused by friction of your car’s braking system, is corrosive and can cause pitting of the wheel finish. To avoid marring of your wheels, any soils gathered on your wheels must be removed regularly, possibly weekly, depending on your driving habits.
I hope at least ONE person responds to this and says that they decided to buy another brand because of this review!!!!!

That Sucks.
I see you are in Florida, here in Ct. Most people do not use Chrome wheels due to the road salt in the winter, and go with clear coat polished/machined or black. Speaking for my Ridicously overpriced Chrome wheels on my Harley, I due clean them regularly and be sure to keep a coat of wax on them [ like Collinite insulator wax ] . I have seen guys with $2500 wheels on Harleys pitted due to the brake dust. The wax will give them some protection of Salt/dirt and brake dust, and will also make them easier to clean with soap and water.

That's any wheel when neglected. I wash mine at least once a week, sometimes more if the weather is nasty. Takes 4 mins to do the entire truck at a local drive thru auto wash. I bought a prepaid card so it's less than $5/wash.
The kind of wash that pulls you thru, not the kind that moves up and down the truck.
