Default 'Best' Wheel?

What is the best wheel in everyones opinions for winter conditions?

I just bought a set of polished aluminum wheels and feel like they are going to stay dull when I try to polish them up.

Is there any wheel anyone runs or prefers for winter conditions that holds its look for a long time? Or am I just being paranoid with mine.

Also been curious as to what is a lighter set up? Smaller rim with more rubber etc?

Anything factory is your best bet to stand up to winter conditions. Aftermarket are not nearly the quality unless you spend massive amounts of money.

Your post is so vague we have no clue what you are ultimate asking as in stock polished wheels or aftermarket? Explain what you have going on a little more and we can help much better!

As for lighter wheels and tires it all depends. Typically a smaller wheel and taller tire are lighter. But again you can find an expensive wheel that is light as can be in a 22" and you can find a 16" that is rather heavy. Tires also very a good amount from brand and style in any given size.

But like a I said generally a 17 or 18 with a taller tire will be lighter then a 20 or 22 with a low profile tire.
