Default Any issue with new take off wheels?

I have the 20" silver sport wheels on my 2018 XLT and at 70,000 miles it is time to replace the tires. I would like to get the dark metallic sport wheels and a lot of people have new take-offs available for around $1000. Seems a lot of people buy a new truck and immediately mount big tires and rims leaving a lot of new OEM tire/rims available. I am thinking that getting new tires plus the rims I want for less than the price of new tires is the way to go. Some of them have the TPMS sensors some don't so this is something I have to factor in. One place quoted me $950 for new rims and tires (all OEM Hankook) plus $75 to swap out my current sensors and mount new tires and rims. Any issues with using new take off wheels and tires? Will I need to re-balance if I change out the TPMS sensors? Looking for anyone who has done this.

I did this on my 89 years ago. Needed tires and went to a large tire place and found a set of tires and rims that were new. Got them cheaper than a new set of tires alone.

I don't see any issue with it.

I was on the losing ($ wise) end of that last year myself, took my new Platinum home and and literally had Discount Tire swap the wheels and tires at 50 miles on the odometer, Day 1. Sold the whole mounted set for what was a spectacular deal to whomever showed up with cash.

I don't know if you need to rebalance with TPMS change though.

Just want to close out on this. I did buy a set of 2023 dark gray 20" Sport rims and Hankook dynapro tires - brand new no miles take offs. The place I bought from removed the old TPMS sensors from my original 2018 wheels and installed them in the new wheels. I took it out on the highway today and tires seem perfectly balanced so no issue with changing out the sensors. I got new dark grey rims I wanted and new tires for $950 plus $75 to change out the TPMS sensor and mount on my truck. Very happy with the way it turned out. The only thing I can't decide if I want to leave the chrome lug nuts or buy black ones.

Nothing wrong with factory takeoffs, but I prefer a higher quality tire than factory.
