Default Another Question

Hey guys,

I own a 2007 F-150 STX Supercab Flareside pickup and had a couple questions about some wheels and tires.

On the inside of my door is says my truck fits 255/65/R17, and we recently got 265/65/R17 tires on them. I am not so knowledgeable in the restrictions of tire sizes and etc. but I was wondering if 315/70/R17 tires would be compatible with my truck? I highly doubt this since it would probably rub, etc. But what would it take to fit? (Lift kit, spacers, etc.)
(I found a Wheel/Tire Package that I like which is this size)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Happy Holidays!

DFTTTM

P.S. This might be a stupid question but I thought I would go ahead and ask.

A lot of the guys in our year run a 35x12.50 on a 2.5" level. They have to trim a little plastic, but that's about it.

Is this the case for a 2WD pickup as well?
